Slovenia was such an underrated country to me when I visited back in 2022 - I’d never really thought of going before but had 3 weeks to spare and with reasonable flight prices back from Singapore I thought “why not” 🤷🏼‍♀️

It quickly became one of my favourite places in Europe and I’m dying to go back and explore more! Lake Bled and the surrounding National Park + Vintgar Gorge are so beautiful and surreal 🌲😍

This month in Bali has woken me up!!!!! 🌺✨🐚🤍

I was feeling a bit stagnant after being in Australia for 1.5 years. Lack of moving around, lack of travel freedom, lack of always meeting new people - these are actually situations where I thrive and I felt like I’d lost a part of me when living in Australia had stopped me from doing all of those things 😭

But now I’m feeling like myself again (especially that I’ve just decided spontaneously to stay in Bali for an extra week only 3 hours before I was due to go to the airport) 🩷✨

Don’t get me wrong, life on the road is not as glamorous as it looks online. Plus you have constant worries about WiFi strength, visas and client time zones (just to name a few). It can feel lonely and isolating at times when all your family and friends are back home living a completely different lifestyle and you end up missing out on celebrating their big milestones.

But I wouldn’t swap this level of freedom for anything 🤍✨
